A verse I read this morning in Psalms 107:1 O give thanks unto the Lord, for his mercy endureth forever. vs. 19 says then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. God has proved his mercy in my life over and over again but more these days than I can ever remember. And he hears our prayers when we are crying out to him.
R.G. lays in ICU after a 3 hrs. surgery yesterday afternoon. A simple stomach ache, I thought! But after a trip to the ER again and a Cat scan we found out he has some type of blockage in his abdomen. After a long day of running test the surgeon felt he had no choice but to do surgery. To our surprise he was born with his inside coiled around each other in ways which is not natural. They went in to fix them and found part of his colon had turned black and died already and from our knowledge you can't live that way for to long. They cut the dead part out and attached the good part together. Removed his appendix to prevent later problems and moved things around to better suit R.G. anatomy. God once again shows us He is always in control. What is God teaching us this time? He has taught so many people I can't begin to know how so many of our faith in him has shined through and through in R.G.'s life. He proves it everyday in my life.
