Good Company!

Hebrews 13: 5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
The Lord is always here for us ,we only have to call his name. Sometimes that seems so little but yet so BIG in his eyes.
A friend brought me Chinese take out at the hospital yesterday. What a nice change from the cafeteria food. When i opened my fortune cookie I couldn't help but think of the Lord and the comfort he has brought us along this journey with RG and then the family and friends. It's hard to believe out of 8 weeks we've spent 33 of those days in the hospital. RG's life has always been a special trip but nothing like the last 8 weeks. Sometimes it's easy going through the trials but hard to look back on all you've gone through and realize it was a miracle how God brought you through.
We were able to come home last night about 11:30 p.m. I've never heard of checking out of the hospital that late but once again the Lord was teaching us patience. The surgeon released us at 10:30 a.m. and we waited on the pulmonary doctor all day. I wasn't to happy with the doctor only to find out no one paged him till after 10:00 p.m. I've learned to bite me tongue because sometimes you blame the wrong person and you must always leave the door open for the gospel. I am thrilled we are home for Thanksgiving and we have plenty to be thankful for that is for sure.

R.G. trying to smile!!!
