Running with Patience.

Patience seems to be the Word of the day. A great set of verses I read this morning were in Hebrews.  God amazing me of how you can memorize verses when your younger but through the years and circumstances they bring different meaning each time we read them.
Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

My prayer today is for the Lord to allow us as a family to be patient with our race he has given us to run and to allow us to keep focused on the one we are serving. Thank the Lord for your race and be patient with God. He always know best !

Crazy, that we just had a great check up in Dallas on Wednesday and ended up in the hospital that evening with a new problems. Thank the Lord we were back in Longview though.  I love Longview, Texas!!!!!!!
